Runtime Settings
Hosted customers configure runtime settings in the KoreShield Dashboard. Self-hosted customers can apply the same settings in their deployment configuration.
Common Settings
- Security sensitivity: Low/Medium/High detection posture
- Default action: Allow, warn, or block
- Authentication: JWT or API key requirements
- Provider routing: Enable or disable providers per environment
Hosted vs. Self-hosted
- Hosted: Set values in the Dashboard and deploy instantly.
- Self-hosted: Apply environment variables and the managed config bundle provided by KoreShield.
For changes that affect production enforcement (for example, stricter blocking), validate changes in a staging environment first.
